Charlie Saponaro is CEO of Medical Record Associates (MRA). one of the largest health information services companies in the US. He acquired MRA in the fall of 2010 via Bartley Capital, a search fund created for the sole purpose of acquiring and operating a single middle market company. Prior to founding Bartley Capital, Saponaro was a Vice President of Corporate Development for ArchivesOne, the third largest records management company in the US. While at ArchivesOne, Saponaro was a key part of the management team where he led all M&A activities. ArchivesOne closed a total of 35 acqusition before being acquired by Iron Mountain in 2007. After the acquisition, he spent a short period of time at Iron Mountain as a Director of Corporate Development before leaving to start Bartley Capital. Before joining ArchivesOne, Saponaro was a Vice President at Brook Venture Partners, a Boston based private equity firm. While at Brook, he identified, evaluated, and negotiated investment opportunities for Brook Funds, and worked closely with portfolio company management teams to help develop their customer based and strategic partnerships. Saponaro holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of Vermont.
